PUBLIC GARDENS
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Belforte is the last village of Montefeltro, the border with Tuscany. The local administration has understood what was the structural requirement of the place: it lacked a square. The elements valued are two: the green part (own a garden) and the idea of an urban square.
Were created little path “oases” to the greens, which serve as a container: plays for children, reading area, a water tank with waterfall (to symbolize the Foglia river), new planting of small and medium-size autochthonous species, irrigation system that takes water from the existing well and on the other side, a considerable paved portion, with geometric plays and irregular “traditional” cobbles (adjacent to the church of S. Lorenzo) suitable for events, outdoor theatre, small concerts with a shelf that integrates system arrangement and independence of lighting, neat at new all over the surface project.
