HOUSE EXTENSION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In the village Montenerone, an historic hamlet in the village of Sistino was brought a project of raising to fruition of an house built in the middle 90s. The plan is to realize a second property unit in the attic of the main house, internally connected with it, putting in the existing roof volume a new parallelepiped volume, which allows to increase the habitable heights and take advantage of space to allocate kitchen, dining room, rooms and toilets. The openings are large and offer a privileged view of the landscape and give an unusual lighting to the attic. The structure of enlargement is made of wood, so it doesn’t weight down too much the vertical structures and doesn’t require a static revision of the building. Particular attention was paid to the energy, in fact on the new roof was installed solar panels, which make the complex self-sufficient from the energy point of view.
